Captions: vault, folders and generation

The Vault is the paid core of OnlyVault. You create one folder per script or shoot, drop the media in it, and each file gets a caption written in the creator's name: what she does, where, what she wears, what happens in the video, what she says in the audio. Every caption is editable, saved automatically, searchable later, and free to reword. You then copy it into the media's Description in OnlyChat so the AI knows what it is sending. A photo costs 2 credits, an audio 4, a video 6; a photo already captioned for the same creator is recognized and not charged again.

Where to find it

Click Vault in the sidebar. The page is titled "Creator's vault." with the folder count and a New folder button.

Folders view

Each card shows a color dot, the folder name, the description (two lines), "N medias" or "Empty", and progress: "done" when every caption is marked done, otherwise a percentage and a bar. Hover a card to reveal the pencil (tooltip "Edit folder") and, for owners, the trash (tooltip "Delete folder"). Click the card to open it.

The quick delete confirm reads "Delete folder "X" and all N captions inside (d/N done)? This can't be undone." or "Delete empty folder "X"?". Toast: "Folder "X" deleted".

Empty state: "Create your first folder." with the hint "Folders organize all the media for one script. For example: "Netflix script", "PPV Halloween", "Daily content Mar 15"." and a Create folder button. Assistants see "Ask your owner to create the first folder."

Owners also see banners at the top of this view:

• Before the first top-up, with 0 credits: "Welcome to OnlyVault. Top up your balance to start generating captions. As a welcome, your first top-up gets +20% bonus credits (e.g. $20 = 100 + 20 bonus = 120 credits). Photo: 2 cr · Video: 6 cr · Audio: 4 cr" with Top up to start.
• After a top-up, when the balance is back to 0: "Your balance is empty. Top up to keep generating captions." with Top up.

The folder modal (New folder / Edit folder)

Buttons: Cancel, Create or Save. Toasts: "Folder created", "Folder updated", "Folder deleted".

When editing, two delete buttons appear:

• Delete folder only: confirm "Delete "X"? Its captions will move to Unsorted." The captions still exist and still count for duplicate detection, but there is no Unsorted view in the current interface to browse them.
• Delete + captions (owners): confirm "Delete "X" AND all its captions? This is permanent."

Inside a folder

Sticky header

• Color dot, folder name and description.
• Select / Cancel selection (editors and owners) and Edit folder.
• Progress bar "d/N done · NN%".
• Media filter pills: All N, Photos N, Videos N, Audio N (a pill is disabled when its count is 0).

Selection mode

Click Select. The bar reads "N selected · tap captions to select them" with Select all, Move to... and, for owners, Delete N.

• Move to... opens "Move N caption(s) to..." listing the creator's other folders with their "done/total". If there is none: "No other folders available. Create one?". Buttons Cancel and Move; toast "Moved N caption(s)".
• Delete N asks "Delete N caption(s)? This will permanently remove N caption(s). This can't be undone." Toast "Deleted N caption(s)".

Upload and generation: "Drop your media."

The upload area reads "Drop your media. Generating captions for Creator. Photos, videos & audio, up to 40 at once. Edits and history saved automatically." The drop zone says "Drop photos, videos or audio, JPG · PNG · MP4 · MOV · MP3 · OGG · WAV, auto-detect". Click it to browse (multi-select) or drag files in.

Three tips sit under it: "/01 SMART MEMORY Photos already captured before are detected automatically and reuse their existing caption.", "/02 BATCH 5x Five images processed in parallel. A 40-photo batch takes 30-60 seconds total." and "/03 ALWAYS EDITABLE Click any caption to refine it. Changes save automatically and appear in History."

Accepted files and size caps

Anything else: "File must be image, video, or audio". Owners with 0 credits cannot drop: the billing modal opens with the toast "Top up your balance to start generating captions".

What happens during a batch

Files are processed two at a time in the browser; the others wait. Each card shows a stage label: "Waiting...", "Waiting (videos take longer)...", "Waiting (transcribing)...", then "Analyzing image...", "Extracting frames + audio...", "Transcribing audio...", then "Writing caption...", "Analyzing video..." or "Formatting transcript...". The header chip shows "N processing", then "ready".

Network hiccups retry automatically up to three times, with the French strings "Connexion coupée, réessai 1/2..." (connection lost, retrying) or "Serveur occupé (5xx), réessai 1/2..." (server busy, retrying).

Card badges and costs

• "from vault" (tooltip "Already captioned: filename"): the photo was already captioned for this creator, the existing caption is reused, nothing is charged.
• "new": a fresh caption was written and charged. Toast: "-2 cr · Photo caption", "-6 cr · Video caption" or "-4 cr · Audio caption".
• "error": see the error line on the card, for example "Insufficient balance: 3 credits available, 6 needed. Top up to continue." or "Generation failed. Your credits were not charged, please try again."

Video cards show "VIDEO · 1:23" (duration); audio cards show "AUDIO · 0:45 · EN" with the detected language. Duplicate detection only applies to photos; videos and audio are always charged.

Batch toolbar

Once cards exist: Add more, Clear batch (confirm "Clear current batch? Remove all N captions from this batch. They stay saved in History."), Copy all (toast "Copied", one caption per line) and Export CSV (file onlyvault-captions.csv with the columns filename and caption).

Card actions

Each card has "#01 filename" in its header and an editable text area with the disclaimer "OnlyVault can make mistakes. Please double-check responses." Click the text to edit; a word and character counter shows while focused and the change saves when you click outside.

The tooltips mention keyboard shortcuts; they are not active. Use the buttons.

The history grid (captions already in the folder)

Below the batch, the folder's saved captions appear as cards: thumbnail (video "1:23", audio "0:45"), date, filename (cut at 18 characters), caption, disclaimer, "done by name", buttons Copy, Re-rewrite, Done or Restore, and the trash on hover for owners. A broken thumbnail shows a placeholder.

• Search bar "Search captions, filenames..." with a counter "shown / total" and a Refresh button.
• Empty folder: "Your vault is empty. Drop some media here or create a folder to start writing captions for your content."
• No match: "No captions match your search. Try a different keyword or clear the search."
• The grid loads the 500 most recent captions of a folder; there is no load more.

Detail modal

Click a card. The modal shows a large thumbnail (click it to open the lightbox), the filename, "Captured date · edited date", and the caption in an editable text area ("Edits auto-save when you click outside", then "Saving…", then "Saved").

Buttons: Copy caption, Re-rewrite (free) (tooltip "Generate a new version of this caption, free, no credits used"; overlay "Rewriting…"; toast "Rewritten, free, no credits used") and Delete from vault ("Delete from vault? This will permanently delete this caption from the vault. This can't be undone." then "Removed from vault").

Lightbox

Photos open full size (click to reveal when Blur mode is on). In the current batch, videos play with controls, muted and looping, and audio opens a player; History keeps a thumbnail only.

From OnlyVault to OnlyChat

1. Copy the captionIn the folder, click Copy on the card, or Copy all on the batch to get every caption in one paste, or Export CSV to work in a spreadsheet.
2. Open the media in OnlyChatOnlyFans: Medias tab, open the synced media list, click the pencil on the media, paste into Description, click Update. Telegram: Medias tab, open the folder, click the pencil, paste into the description, Save.
3. Check Ready for AIThe media row in OnlyChat shows a check under "Ready for AI" once it has a description. Without it the step still sends the file, but the AI cannot tell a fan what is in it before he pays.
4. Mark doneBack in OnlyVault, click Done so the folder progress shows what is already in OnlyChat.

Good to know

• A pasted caption is plain text. Once it sits in an OnlyChat description it has no link left to OnlyVault: editing or deleting the caption in OnlyVault changes nothing in OnlyChat, and the reverse is true too. The Done marker is only your own progress tracker.
• One caption per creator per photo: the same photo dropped for another creator is captioned and charged again.
• Editors generate on the owner's credits; assistants can only mark done and restore.
• Two files process at a time even if the tip says five; in our tests a 40-photo batch still finishes in about a minute.
